Petra, Jordan - November 2005

Petra was made famous by the movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. In the last major action scene, they goto this temple looking building which housed the Holy Grail. Well, that was here in Petra. However, there are no spinning blades to duck, no letter stepping stones to walk on, no giant chasms to leap in to nor chalices to drink from. Inside is really not that spectacular. But Petra was well worth the visit as it's more than a single facade.

Comments:
Man there was a lot of walking to do. But of course you can always hire a camel or donkey. Although we did rush through everything in one day where most people take two days.
