Gibraltar, UK - July 2005

Gibraltar is one of UK's last remaining colonies. Everything is almost exactly the same as it would be in England except they still drive on the right. You have all your usual English stores like Marks & Spencer. They still use the three pronged English power outlet. They use the Gibraltar Pound (pegged to the Sterling). They use Royal Mail. And they have your typical English pubs. One of the oddest places I've been to.

Comments:
A really nice place to come back to after a visit to Morocco. Everything makes sense again. There was a sense of home coming to Gibraltar.
